Meet the Editors

Welcome to Travail!

We're Darcie and Meg - the editors of this new, exclusive, magazine Travail!

Meg and I have been friends for over three years and over this time our love of adventure, travel, and airport pints have taken us on incredible journeys.

Our love for travel and seasonal work stemmed from our first seasonal jobs in Cornwall. Here, we spent three months working, surfing, and exploring. We got to meet people on similar travel journeys to us and experience different working cultures which inspired our love of seasonal work.

Besides are seasonal roles, we spend the rest of the university year vigorously stalking Sky Scanner to find the best excuse to explore Europe for the weekend.

Our life goal is to travel and work around the world until we can't climb the airplane stairs anymore. We believe it would be rude not to share our adventures and the stories of those we meet on our travels with the rest of the world. Therefore, Travail is a one-stop, easy-reading shop to give you all an insight into a traveller's life and to help you explore working abroad!
